Silver Lining

I have been sick for a couple weeks. Yesterday I went to get a X-ray of my chest. I could not help but notice that the X-ray Technitian has been wearing more and more attractive outfits. I mean you go in for an X-ray and you think of a bookish person of either gender with bad skin and a lab coat over their mismatched pant suit. Not so with my X-ray tech, she wears lavendar high heels and and a floral print dress that comes to her knees and no lab coat to be seen.

I don’t like having my X-ray, but at least there is a little silver lining on the X-ray plate.

I’m on lots of drugs now. Lots meaning 5 different types of medication. I just hope I’m not combining anything that is not going to go well. One of the meds requires that I not sit or lie for 1/2 hour. Hence I write this standing up.

Father’s Day was nice. I got a beautiful pic of my wife and child. I love them so very much. I like being a dad. Even if it makes me sick because my kid transmits evey germ imaginable to me.

There is a book that I like to read to my child. One of the lines is - I like dogs / big dogs / little dogs / fat dogs / doggy dogs / old dogs / puppy dogs. It has a great cadence to it and I can’t help but remembering reading poetry at the old Blue Mango.

Nighty night everyone.
