Miner 49er
If you went to school in Northern California you may have taken a field trip to the America River South Fork Sutter's Mill where gold was first discovered in California.

The kids are given sifting pans to look for their own gold.

This is a little like what I have been doing for two days. Since the procedure I have been asked to strain my pee to save the bits of the stone that have been broken up. OK its a little different than panning for gold but the process is very similar. I'm just as excited when I get a speck.

I just don't want to have to do that again. It was much harder than I thought. like getting punched by your little brother, not so bad once or twice. But repeatedly 4,000 times. Uh yeah, you wouldn't like it either.

This is Ol' Monkey Face signing off.
