I was picked up by mrs. mice at around 3. We went home and changed. I had to ask her to lay out my clothes because I did not know where we were going. The outfit was nice, so my hunch that we were going out to dinner seemed on track.

We got to Berkeley early and walked around. I figured out that we were going to Chez Panisse. I was very excited. Mrs. mice continued to fret and call someone on her cell. I figured out that someone might be joining us and EQ showed up! Cool! I thought that was it then AH and R showed up. We entered and suddenly my dinner for two became dinner for 5. My wife knows what an extrovert I am and planned accordingly. Awesome.

The meal had 5 courses including desert and was truly lovely. the main course was duck and really nice. The Pasta dish was the star of the show, not too heavy and not too much. The desert was sort of a fig pizza with raspberries and ice cream. Wow. The food was very sexy and it made me feel spoiled.

Well I was taking my time, but that wasn't all for the evening. We whisked off to another location. We got lost a little but Ammy's navigation skills came through and readjusted our driving directions and we got there a couple minutes late. There was Watercourse Way. Ammy and Rick were already there and had arranged our room. We soaked for over an hour. We all dried off and left and by the time we got home I was exhausted and satiated. I don't think it gets better than last night. I was definitely in heaven. What more could a mice want?
