Wondercon was fun.
I love this movie.
I know I mentioned it earlier, but I am now mentioning it again. It is the best.

I think the movie is scary in Italian though I like Karloff’s performances in English quite well. His little narrarator sections are fairly silly. Almost postmodern in their exposition of the horror film. He frightens you then he teases you for being frightened.
It is my favorite from Bava. One of my favorite of all time.
Skinny Puppy has a song “Deep Down Trauma Hounds” which appears on Cleanse, Fold and Manipulate. At least the version in question here does.

I don’t know why I was thinking of Demolition Man. You make think I am being factious, but I confess I can watch that movie whenever and wherever it is on. For the benefit of those who have inteligently avoided this movie it is set primarily in the future and society has been engineered so that all the vices that we tolerate as a free society are outlawed. They also speak to each other in language that is related to self -help books and encounter groups. One of aphorisms that is used is, ”Enhance your calm”.

There is nothing I can say that will be of any meaning on a the 6th anniversary of the terror attacks on U.S soil.
