Christmas Play
My brother usually writes a play to be read by our family at Christmas. I am currently working on one of my own. The last one I did was 10 years ago and was awful. Hopefully this years will be better and less preachy.More Later,

Big Wheel
On my premise that nobody reads this I am considering getting a Big Wheel or other tricycle like device for my adorable godson. My Godmother got me a little fire engine car that i sat in and could drive by paddle-boat like pedals. That fire engine was the bomb.I also had a big wheel which I would race on the sidewalks on my block. I remember once my neighbors were talking and so to avoid them I rode up on their lawn. When confronted a told them I had no choice but to drive on their lawn. What a brat I was.
I have gotten most of the other Christmas gifts on my list including some sneak attack gifts for some friends with Amazon wish lists. I love Amazon wish lists. More of life needs to be like that.
When do I get my Christmas tree? I want one. Plus we gotta watch Nestor the Long Eared Donkey so my wife can cry.

Double Holiday Cheer
Well its been holiday saturation around here at miceland. Saturday we went to a Christmas service at Stanford. They have like a midnight mass for all the students before finals week. We got all dressed up and met our good friend EQ who went to grad school at Stanford. The church was very beautiful, all inlaid gold and Byzantine with paintings and stained glass and the works. After the service they sang Christmas Carols. It was great. I hope it doesn't surprise any of you, dear reader, that I am a Catholic. Well even if it does, for better or worse, I am one.

T-Day Fun
Well my entries regarding Thanksgiving were lost when I had to rebuild MT yet again. But suffice to say there were no drag out fights, only our typical argument regarding what we were gonna do for Christmas Kris Kringles. There are too many micelanders to get a present for every one of us so we draw names out of a hat.Smoke is coming out of my ears because of the intense thinking I have been doing to try and figure out the perfect gift for my K.K. Some people are easier to buy for than others. I myself always have a list at amazon. I prefer giving gifts, but if I am gonna get anything I would like it to be mostly painless for the person getting something for me.

Auntie M
My Aunt and Godmother visited my Mom and Dad last night. When my wife came to pick me up from work, she informed me that my Mom had called her and that we might want to stop over.It was good to see Auntie Ml. She hasn't changed much since we saw her at my cousin's wedding. She has returned to school as is sculpting in marble. I can honestly say that is not something I have ever done. I guess I prefer less permanent media.
