Actually it is off the freeway now, but the rubbernecking has made things a little slow.
Luckily, I’m not even going to work today. I am signed up for soup kitchen. Yeah.

I took some photos today. West Point was beautiful. The ceremonies were great and meant a lot to me. Of course it meant much more to my brother. It’s a little weird hanging out with King Pirate but overall it is tolerable.
I got to see my brother’s best friend again. He is a great guy. He sort of offsets all the weirdness from the Pirate - maybe just for me. I don’t want it to be about me though. I want it to be about brother.
The day included some rather vigorous walking around campus. I thought cycling around my alma mater was tough. That was *ptui* nahting, nahting I say.
There was much discussion as to how this class is the class of 9/11 and that shortly after they started 9/11 changed the world forever and that the cadets had to decide to stay on. All I can say is 9/11 made me feel a lot of anger and a desire to lash out against the people (whoever they were) who had done this. Since then my temper has cooled and I realize that making decisions inspired by fear and hatred are nothing noble. In the end I am just terribly proud of my brother. I pray that God keeps him safe. I don’t think he has undertaken this endeavor lightly, or out of anger. He is a good guy and deserves every good thing.
I did say that we are moving shortly didn’t I? Well if I did not I apologize.
We are in fact selling our little place and hopefully finding a bigger and better place. To that end we made a bid on a flawed but nice little place. Sadly owned by a greedy and insane man. Our counter offer was not accepted and ah well we have to keep looking for our dream house. He clearly doesn’t want to sell his place to a nice loving couple that really wants it. So feh on him.
We did get an offer on our place! We counter-offered and hopefully they will accept and love this place as much as we have. We sure did enough cleaning.
Hopefully this process will not leave us homeless. If so, my mom will get some great time with le bit de Minuet.

I wish the Bay Bridge was so far along. Jeez so much money poured into that project and what do we have to show for it? Null.
