Finally!
Well it certainly took long enough.
I got tired of all the DNS resolution issues and the days in a row for which miceland was unavailable because the power outages at my place of residence.
Now miceland is hosted upon a server somewhere in Canada surrounded by hozer sysadmins who despise security. It is a blow to my sensibilities and ego, but I'm sure it will mean for much better availability for you.
I apologize for the lack of blogs and I will endeavor to keep everything up in the future.
Sadly, I had to hand copy over all my previous bogs and I did not transfer over any comments that anyone might have made. Sorry!
Gallery is down and I am not going to put it up again. I will be working out a method for posting pics.
Lion and Lizard's page is down. They didn't want to spend the time to fix it. They are too busy planning their trip to WDW.
Speaking of which, I finished reading a great book
Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom by Cory Doctorow. Its quite illuminating and a good read. Its a possible future and concerns itself with the Haunted Mansion which of course I love. Very twisted, but I believe it could easily be our future.
We are finally through with the mystery surprise disappearing act. No more trips to the hospital at least for a while.
So, much more later,

Princess Fruit Snacks
We are going to Disneyland this weekend and my wife went shopping for snack and food to bring on our trip. Now I should admit that I do collect Disney pins and my favorite Disney characters are princesses. However I find it just as disturbing as you that the above was purchased for me.
I wonder if they taste any good.
More later,
Post Script.
They were in fact very sugary. They wound up looking a little like skinny little Venus of Willendorf, on account of them having no faces.

Buffer the Angst
The above were taken by Damn and messed around with in Photoshop by me.
Well WEF was a fun party. I was able to complete my book raison d' etre and give it out to all my friends. I made 50 and still have maybe 10 left. If you would like one. Please email me and I will happily send you one until I run out. I may post it here later, but it is unlikely that the web version will be as nice as the paper one. It came out looking pretty sharp, despite at least two uncaught grammatical errors.
If you are here for the first time after receiving the aforementioned, Welcome! I hope you enjoy the material I have posted here including the weblog that you are reading now.
The only problem with the weekend was that I only have allergies when I am in Davis and Sacramento. So time spent outside at Whole Earth Festival is a slow suffering under all of the pollen that is shuffled up from thousands of Birkenstock's. Otherwise I enjoyed socializing from morning to night. Mrs. mice put up with me and didn't begrudge me a minute.
The EMEA MMM came off without a hitch So I didn't need to turn MM back on. I am grateful for that.
More L8r,

House of a 1000 Tofu Dogs
Just saw the new Angel. Awesome. I do not think the show sucks. It does not even resemble sucking.
Buffy on the other hand is irritating me. I can only imagine that that is the point. I think Buffy may be evil. I just want the show to end now. Maybe Allison Hannigan can be on Angel with her sweetheart, oh and some the Firefly cast. But the Firefly cast not being evil. Just being nice. OK never mind. We can't have Faith the Vampire Slayer the show. But it wouldn't be a bad movie. Could we have that?
How about Angel in the new American Pie sequel. Could we see that?
Coming up in between all the weekends working on Meeting Maker I am going to see House of 1000 corpses which I'm told is great for horror fans like myself. (your spoiler is it's no "I Know What You Did Last Summer")
Also coming up is The UC Davis Whole Earth Festival. I get to see some of my old friends. It should be very nostalgic.

Easter Fun
Easter time at mice's parents.
Overall it wasn't a bad time. My brother managed to irritate me. Nothing new there. MR did not show up Easter Day, she spent the day with her new beau. It felt weird not to have her there.
Easter Bunny gave us a nice basket full of chocolates, plus mrs. mice got a Tetris game for the Playstation and mice got Harry Potter II.
We all looked at pictures from the family archives. I am hoping to get some of the oldest ones up soon.
Working on a new book for Whole Earth Festival. Last year I had no book and everyone asked for one. This year I want to be ready. I will post it here once I am done.

Comments on AV-Day 2003
AV-Day 2003 Gallery had been uploaded but was uncommented.
Its a shame to leave pictures without their pithy comments.

Less Terrible
I'm too busy lately to feel any real sorrow.
I've been working much too much lately. Worked this weekend on a Meeting Maker purge for Latin and Asia. Next weekend I get to actually not work, the following weekend working as well on more purges, this time for the US.
Soon I get to go to Disneyland and see the new Pooh ride. I'm more excited about that than I should be.
Mrs. mice is doing OK, she took a sick day today. I have to admit I am jealous.
Networking/DNS to miceland has been somewhat reliable. I suppose its all relative.
My ebay auctions for two Disney pins were left unbid upon. I guess its better that way. I don't want to be greedy.
Kelly our local pin meet organizer is moving to Florida, leaving me in charge. Not sure I want this honor, but oh well.
I should go to bed. Its very late.
More later.
