Ren Faire
Years ago, I started participating in Renaissance Faire. I'm trying to remember the first year I started. I think it might have been like 1991 or 1992 or something. I was trying to drive tomato trucks for the summer, but had been fired before I was able to drive a single truck because I wasn't manly enough or a good enough driver or wasn't learning fast enough. I was out of school and needed something to do for the summer and I got convinced to go by several friends that Ren Faire was fun. I remember my first day on site. I thought that I wanted to have tomatoes thrown at my face. I am only realizing now that both possibilities revolved around a vegetable I don't like.

July 4th
Mrs. mice loves fireworks so we went to see the city of King Saint fireworks display. I decided to see if the camera would capture these images. This is part of the of the result.

A Pirate’s Life for Me
July 13th is my planned outing to go with friends and family to go see Pirates of The Carribean The Curse of the Black Perl. I am a huge Pirates of the Caribbean fan and have been since I was 8 years old when I got to ride it on my first and only childhood trip to D-land. My parents bought me a Pirates of the Caribbean LP. The A side was a audio mix from the attraction whilst the B Side was Pirate songs including A Pirates Life for Me.

Feis History
Just found some pics of mrs. mice at a feis a little while ago that I had to show you. I find them quite hilarious but they don't really fit in the Funny Face experiment.
Experiments Readded
Experiements Funny Face and Mud Mask were readded.I am no longer using Gallery to display my photos. I am using Dreamweaver to create Templates.
This allows me more control over the look and feel of the pages andalso allows me to link back to the related pages.

New Host
Lots of changes. Moved to new host. Site is now hosted by speakeasy.net Network outages and power outages at my house made for crappy service to miceland and i got tired of it. Overall hosting my site was an illuminating experience. Learned all about DNS, apache, and how to configure a Cisco pix 500.At this new site I have ceased, for the time being, to use the gallery application to show off my pics.
1. Becuase I need to show less pictures for size constaints on my new host
2. Because I would like to unify the look and feel of the site, and gallery can only be configured so much.
To this end I am attempting to use Dreamweaver. We'll see.
I am also looking to modify the blog pages too look more like the main miceland page.
